RELEASE SP1.19+ (April 11, 2006)
Increments added to: (1) Limit busy tone generation to approximately 15 seconds to help ensure busy tone is not continuously generated such as when a caller leaves a conference call. (2) Slightly slow down the callerid name/number sending sequence sent toward the phone by the VTA1000 as some phones are not able to accomodate very fast transmission speeds. (3) Generate a busy tone when a call times out and no number is dialed within 30 seconds after a Skype call is initiated. (4) Support the latest vintage of VTA1000 hardware which uses the Slic560C chip.

RELEASE SP1.19

Skype:
1. Remote phone application expanded support added. A feature was added to support out-of-band DTMF touchtone re-generation to allow the VTA1000 Gateway to support a much wider variety of remote phone applications. The new feature allows a remote phone extension to be created using only a VTA1000/VPC1000 product combination connected to a PSTN local phone line. Using the latter a remote caller is able to place and receive local phone calls via the PSTN local phone line using ONLY a Skype dialer and its built in keypad just as if they had a phone directly connected to the PSTN local phone line. For users who have the VTA1000 or a VTA1000/VPC1000 combination connected to a PBX, the out-of-band DTMF touchtone re-generation feature also allows remote callers to directly be able to directly dial an extension on the PBX using ONLY a Skype dialer and its built in keypad. The VPC1000 may optionally be programmed with an access password which must be entered by the remote caller before access to the PSTN local phone line is allowed providing additional calling security. To improve the end user calling experience for remote phone applications, the remote caller may optionally use our VPT1000 USB Phone which plugs into the usb port of a computer and works like a regular phone (or alternatively another VTA1000 Gateway with a good cordless or regular phone).
2. Automatic Skype dialer field settings. The audio device settings in the Skype dialer are also now automatically set when the USB device is plugged in. The need to set any special Skype field settings at the time of product installation has been removed.
3. Skype 1.4 and Skype 2.0 support added.

Netzero Voice:
This is the first release that supports proprietary NetZero Voice softphone dialer. NetZero Voice have developed their own proprietary protocol and do not use either the SIP, H.323 or IAX2 open protocols.

X-Lite:
CounterPath version of the X-Lite softphone dialer support added. For reference the company Xten who developed these dialers is now called Counterpath.
